YSL's wants to become involved in our communities through outreach programs sponsored by our members and fellowship groups. We encourage our members to donate school supplies and food items to their neighborhood schools. Shelters will welcome contributions of clothes, shoes, undergarments and toiletries to help their residents dress for job interviews, attend church or just feel a renewed sense of pride.
"Fresh Start"
Collection of toiletries and undergarments for women in shelters or who are in transition.
"School Supplies Drive" and
"Stock the Food Shelf"
benefits children in low income school areas.
"Sharing is Caring"
Collection of wholesome foods for women and their families who are in crisis.
